This Ableton Live template is the result of a deep collaboration between Steffen Ki and Xuqutopi, two sonic explorers at the intersection of electronic club culture and ancient ritual tradition.
Steffen Ki is known for immersive, meditative soundscapes and refined analog sound design, while Xuqutopi is recognized for rhythmically complex, spiritually infused compositions that bridge techno and ethnomusicology. Together, they open new spaces for contemporary ritual music on the dancefloor.
Rooted in the spirit of shamanic trance and ancestral wisdom, this template invites you to reconnect with the natural world and your own authentic essence. The sound draws from dub techno traditions, enriched with organic textures, tribal percussion, and psychoacoustic effects that evoke altered states of consciousness.
At its core, this work follows a clear philosophy: to integrate the essence of ethnic initiation rites and the primordial human longing for authenticity into the context of modern club culture. It aligns electronic music with the cosmic order, aiming to serve the highest intention for humanity and all beings—through compassion, presence, and unity.
All sounds were crafted using analog gear, enhanced with tube warmth and ampex tape saturation to give the material a physical, breathing quality.
